Im having a moment--Is it me or is it a sad commentary [again] about our Justice System? I am weary & mentally worn out. What are we to feel, think and or do when some people that are suppose to serve and protect the community are ending the lives of unarmed people [ in the community?] Michael Brown (Ferguson, MO ) Eric Garner ( Staten Island, NY) & Jonathan Ferrell (Charlotte, NC). I understand protecting your family/home/neighborhood from harm. I totally get it & believe that. However, I think the train goes off the rails when a persons perception of a threat is intentionally false/unjustified and or misconstrued in order to rationalize the justification of his actions; George Zimmerman -Trayvon Martin (Sanford, FL). Hmmm, Jeffrey Dahmer (WI), Timothy McVeigh (OK) James E. Holmes (CO) were taken into custody for their crimes. In the US it is possible to kill a person and not serve any time (George Zimmerman). In the US It is also possible to shoot a gun in the air (warning) no one is injured and you are sentenced to 20 years in prison (Marissa Alexander). Injustice garners more attention & energy from the public/media more than the positive outcomes in our Justice system. When will the day come where all lives are valued and we can say were ALL a part of the HUMAN RACE Im going to listen to some music, watch a comedy and take a time out from the media coverage of this madness. Im done. Woo Saaah....
