Im home!!! Yay! So, for those who may not know, I went in yesterday for outpatient gallbladder removal surgery. Unfortunately, I was not breathing very effectively while coming out of anesthesia. Every time I would fall asleep my oxygen saturation would drop into the low 80s (supposed to be 90 or higher). I ended up being kept in the hospital last night on a Bi-pap machine to help me breathe. It was very scary and I was exhausted from not being able to sleep due to alarms going off every time I did. Anyway, they think it was a combination of the anesthesia, the pain meds, and undiagnosed sleep apnea. I was discharged from the hospital this afternoon and am now back home. Hoping for good rest in MY BED!!!
