Im in Tupelo MS tonight, and ate at my new favorite BBQ joint, Crossroads BBQ Shack... While I was there (eating a BBQ Salad, trying to climb back on the diet wagon), two women came in and sat across from me... They asked the waitress if they could try a rib (what? You can actually do that? Wish I had known)... Anyway, when the waitress left, I told them they would love the ribs... They asked about me, if I was traveling, who I worked for (they love Milos Tea!), and said the ribs were the best theyd ever ate! By the way, these were two African-American women, and they treated me just as I would want anyone to treat me, and I hope I displayed the same Christian love to them. As I got up to leave, they both wished me well and safe travels. With this being Martin Luther King Jr Day, I know there is still work to do in many areas, but we really have come a long way...
