Im interested in either selling this 15H Arabian mare outright for $900 or B/O.......or Im willing to do an on-site lease to own to an experienced horse person. Pay $275 a month for four months and shes yours. (lease payment includes farrier, de-worming, routine vet work and full use of our farm located in Buffalo which includes indoor and outdoor arena and extensive trails that wind throughout the woods and around the fields of our 74 acre horse farm) shes a beautiful horse that is sound, healthy and broke to ride with terrific bloodlines but shes a project horse because I feel she really needs one person to bond with her and work consistently with her one- on-one. Shes a challenge to tack up and is cinchy. Once shes tacked up and you are riding her she will test a new rider so needs someone confident and experienced enough push through the first few minutes of riding and then she settles down. She doesnt buck, rear or bolt - mainly refuses to move or resists the bit & your leg cues. Weve checked ulcers, teeth and chiro. The main issue is probably because she sat for several years without being ridden and just needs time being handled and ridden more and I just dont have the personal time to commit to her so Im looking for someone that does. I took this video of her being ridden today. After sitting for several years weve only ridden her about ten times in the past couple of months so with handling she should continue to improve.
