Im just getting up but this picture spoke volumes to me about the weekend and race day. To me it screams DETERMINATION. This is T Wellott Photography, the race photographers, getting hammered by the second rain storm. He sat there and took photos through the entire bipolar weather day. To me this represents the determination of the athletes to conquer anything. The determination of vendors to be present and help create a great event. The determination of our Fleet Feet Sports & YellowJacket Racing staff to work tirelessly to produce an expo and a marathon, plus time 5 other races. The determination of Nicole LeBeau Mau, Director of Major Events to come back to this event her baby under YellowJacket Racing. The determination of my husband, David J. Boutillier and Operations Mgr, Matt Avery, to work on so little sleep prepping the course, the timing, all other events we did this weekend. I wish I could post everyones name but just go to our staff pages and they are rock stars. Yesterday was the culmination of Determination under any circumstance to get er done! Thank you!
