Im just going to leave this here, not to nag, but because I have seen MULTIPLE kids ranging from 9 months to a year in front facing seats and it takes everything in me to not say something. Stop trying to force your kids to grow up and upgrade their car seats. Oh your child is tall and can sit up on its own? Bravo. Your kids legs are SUPPOSED to hang off the edge of the car seat. It does not mean your child needs to upgrade to a front facing seat. (Unless you want to argue with the 10 U of M doctors who told me so) If your child is 2 OR 30 lbs or more (whichever comes first) THEN they can go in a front-facing car. Not only is it law, its for your childs safety. They dont just make these things up to control us, theyre scientifically tested over and over again to ensure your childs safety in a crash. Theyre little bodies are still growing, organs and bones are still developing. The rear facing position is easiest on their fragile little bodies in a crash. Having the right car seat for your child is literally a life or death matter so research your shit and stop taking it lightly. And for the love of God learn how to strap your kid into their car seat because I cannot even begin another rant on that. ITS YOUR CHILDS LIFE.
