Im just going to say this because its on my mind and I dont give a damn who doesnt like it!!! I will never understand the notion of looting and destroying the very community in which you live, because you are angry at perceived social injustice. I listen to my father tell me how hellacious it was for black people coming up in his day. But the difference between then and now is that they all met at the church houses and school houses and devised thoughtful plans on how to better their communities and relationships with the powers that be. Fools these days just get mad and start a warpath of destruction. But it only seems to come to this when a white officer/person shoots or kills a black person. WHERE ARE THE PROTESTS, MARCHES, CANDLELIGHT VIGILS, AL SHARPTON, JESSIE JACKSON, ETC...WHEN BLACKS ARE KILLING EACHOTHER LIKE CRAZY? We seem to just accept that and go on about our daily business I suppose because the media doesnt get as good a buzz from black/black crime. If youre waiting for a mayor or police chief to solve your problems, I suggest you move to candy land. The only way to take back this town and any other town is through educated civil action in the political arena, and by arming and protecting your own in the private arena.
