Im just going to start pretending everything is related to A Song of Ice and Fire to make the world more palatable. Riots for human rights in the US, cultural and religious war in the West Bank, epidemic in Africa, a possible UK divide, terrorist groups, divided councils, hidden nuclear arms, global warming-- its all just a bunch of rich, powerful people trying to make themselves more rich and powerful, common folk trying to make life more tolerable, and nature trying to show us how vulnerable we are either way. Which side will win? Well only know when George R. R. Martin figures his shit out.
