Im just saying.... I didnt catch he State of the Union address last night. I dont know if you did. I find politics very redundant, convoluted, cryptic and mostly unbelievable. Not the principles this country was established on but the mega bucks business it has evolved to become. Not about serving the general public but to serve the fat cat I want it all and screw the general populace contingent. But I caught the news this morning and I saw something I can only describe as quasi detestable. At some point during the address a Afghanistan combat veteran was introduced. He bore the wounds of ten deployments to the middle East. And he was used like a object one would take to show and tell. I want to firmly believe that this was not the presidents bidding but of one of his staff or constituents to enhance the theme of his address. But I hold him responsible. Because he went along with it. I RESENT THIS! It was despicable and unconscionable and unscrupulous to exploit his honor and his devotedness to duty to try and make a point to win allegiance. How dare this government exploit this warriors commitment to duty to provide emphasis to the theme of the address. I am disappointed with the current regimes disregard for SFC Cory Remsburg plight. If this is what politics is all about I hope America sees it for what it is. And maybe its time for a change of venue.
