Im looking for beta readers who are into Fantasy for my latest - TopicsExpress

Im looking for beta readers who are into Fantasy for my latest novel. I think most of the groups I am in are not really familiar with Fantasy as a genre. I am also looking for a new editor who is familiar with Fantasy. My previous editor has taken on a heavy workload and all the people she referred me to are romance editors. I really need to find more true Fantasy writers. The romance folks keep telling me to add emotional impact and cut out the description while the few Fantasy folks say the opposite. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am on a budget, though. Thanks in advance for any advice. On a side note, the in-person writers group I attend (well one of several) is mostly memoir and literary types. Last week one of the literary writers said Dont take this as an insult, but I dont read Fantasy, but your characters are so engaging Im getting hooked. Made me feel like I was doing something right. ;-)
