Im mostly with him, but also with Picasso. Yes, I do wish more knew the rules in the first place, and thus had earned the license to break them. After all, you cant drop a couple of levels of formality --from style soutenu to parler courant-- if you havent attained the former in the first place, and its fun to break rules for specific reasons that a few of the discerning will realize. But, no, I dont have the slightest bit of trouble in understanding even the most typographically-tarded. And from what Ive seen, self-appointed pedants are barely educated morons: how ironic to berate everyone in sight for breaking the only peccadillo you seem to be aware of, while spewing your own neverending geyser of horribilisms :-D ....Ill wait for your books to be published, I guess. You can continue to beat people up for being a nanosecond behind you in grasping some awfully basic bit of derivative knowledge. Or you could try doing some real homework, and then teaching.
