Im not about to play with Stacey Dash. Not on this day. If anything has tried its best to make me feel worthless in this here Age of Obama, its the disrespectful treatment of his presidency, the slayings of Trayvon, Jordan, Renisha, and Mike Brown (especially the not guilty verdicts), and the small subtle reminders that though our equality was gained, inequality has manifest itself in every acre of this land. Sorry Stacey. I dont feel worthless. If anything, amidst this belittling attitude towards black and brown bodies, I have sought out, through my education, activism, artistry, relationships, myself, and my God, my worth. But thank you for trying.
