Im not depressed nor in any down mood, Im just in the mood to express a lot that Ive been seeing w/ friend & etc. Imagine being in the dark for almost your whole life, or at least close to what you remember existing. As a young girl, (or guy) we imagine who our Prince Charming is... We stick on to that memory, & we hope we find a man close to it. Along the way though, you find guys with similar characteristics as your prolonged Prince Charming, maybe its Hes Rich or He dresses nice or Hes hot or simply he may be a family man. Through finding these things that go back to who we WANT, & for some of us, we accept the fact that we will NEVER be good enough for this made up guy. So we settle for the closest thought ones. Finally, a present at your doorstep. The Prince Charming or Dream Man. Out of THE blue, mind you remember, your life is dark, comes this flawed, YET perfect man. & he Loves you ... He says. You do everything in your power to be great for him. Clothes, Hair, Makeup, Expensive Perfume, gifts, an EDUCATION, hey.. Even sometimes youll pay the check at dinner. The thought that what you thought was too good to be true, right on your arms... Helping you through the dark to see light again. Hes almost perfect. Time passes, & the lies pour out. Youve been cheated on everyday, your Instagram followers, & Friends are who he cheats with. Youve looked like an idiot, as you remembered you were lol, literally, being let gone of, almost up from the hole into the light, right back to the bottom. Right back into settling & never being good enough. Right back.... To him, because he makes you feel worth it. Forgetting your worth. Right back to square one.
