Im not officially working, but I did put in my shift this morning at the St. Francis Table at St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church, which Trinity Reformed Church Of Brooklyn partners with in various ministries including the weekday lunch (soup kitchen), food pantry, and clothing closet for some of our neighbours who live on the streets. Every few weeks a wonderful woman drops off homemade pierogis--this time, 300 potato and cheese--for the lunch. I got to fry them up in butter and onions...I only tasted a few, but DELICIOUS. Also shown, the food pantry and clothing closet. A special shout out to Church on the Hill who have also been donating to Trinity for this. Thanks! It helps!
