Im not one for airing my private life on FB.. But sometimes people are so blinded by there own greed and selfishness that the only way to highlight this is to open it to public scrutiny. Nearly three years ago, I stepped out of Uni because my daughter needed me.. For two years prior here mother, Katie Spanswick, did no reading or school work with her. As a result Savannah was very behind. I took control, moving from having Savannah on a thurs (week 1) & Thurs - Saturday (week 2), to Mon - Weds, Thurs -Sat each week to ensure she was getting the support she needed. I did this for my daughter and not for financial gain. I supported my daughter through my own working wage as well as paying for swimming lessons, music lessons and ballet lessons etc... No financial support was provided by her mother despite her still being in receipt of Child Tax & Benefit for Savannah. In Dec 2013 I decided this had to stop and I made a claim for the above benefits and was rightfully awarded them. The award to me was followed by 3 claims by her mother for the benefits though each time she was found non-eligible. As a result she decided to forcefully remove Savannah from her routine to become eligible... Refusing to provide Savannah for contact unless it was under an outdated contact order put in place almost 7 years ago. The progress Savannah had made in her education suffered because her out-of-school work was not being fully maintained. I immediately filed proceeding with the Family Court and had the agreement that had stood for 2.5years put into a new order. Despite this her mother continued to ask for money for which she was not eligible.. Though note that she provided no money to me in two years while she received the above benefits. It is quite clear to any reasonable person that I have done nothing but do the best that I can for Savannah. Savannah is still a bit off of being at the level that she should be but I am working hard, as is Savannah, to get her there but she needs additional help. I advised her mother that as of 20th Dec Savannah will be attending Explore Learning for professional assistance to raise her grades. This is twice a week on Tues and Sat.. Ive asked for no money from her mother or for her mother even to have to raise a finger to take it collect her.... Yet she objects. She objects because Savannah attendance at Explore Learning takes 1.5hrs out of her time, once a fortnight, on a Saturday. This for me was the final straw.. It is Savannahs best interests that are important, nothing more.
