Im only posting these as my sister is having technical difficulties -- this is HER big news to share! Today, Elianna was allowed to go outside for the first time. Along with two wonderful neonatal nurses, Cyn brought Elianna to Yales Healing Garden -- a fitting place for Elianna to feel the sun on her face for the first time ever! We were later joined by the amazing neonatologist whose idea it was to have Elianna outside for a bit, and the joy in his and the nurses faces was priceless. As this Thanksgiving weekend comes to a close, we are certainly thankful for all they have done for Elianna as we are beginning to see the light at the end of this long tunnel!
