Im outspoken about what I do and do not believe in, and that wont change. I dont expect other people to change their world views to suit me, and theyre in for disappointment if they expect me to be quiet about mine. Ive noticed a trend. A theist, no matter their religion, is allowed to be as vocal as they like about their beliefs with little to no consequense. However, if its an antitheist being vocal about non belief, people feel that it is their right to tell them that they need to have respect for the people around them and keep quiet. Why is it acceptable for theists to shove religion in our faces at every opportunity, while anyone with an opposing opinion is expected to keep it to themselves?
