Im overwhelmed by the success of Touhoucon 2014. I enjoyed every moment of it; and all of our hard work and struggles paid off at the end. Were going to have a lot more in store for everyone next year! First of all, Id like to give a major thanks to my fellow Board members: Bryan for your exceptional vision and leadership, Thai for efficiently handling logistics and operations for the convention, Yiheng for your beautiful artwork and creative direction, and Lucas for taking care of finances. Its been an incredible run, and without your hard work and sacrifices, this dream would never have been made a reality. Id personally like to thank the entire Marketing Department, its been a pleasure to work with every single one of you. John, and the SNS team, for your exceptional handling of Social Media at all times. We made it happen, everyone, were trending and viral! Lets keep working hard! Jessie, for being a strong team leader and making sure people were ready to work, communications were smooth, and that everyone was happy. And thanks to the Cosplay team - each and every single one of you were amazing! Edgar, for your professional handling of the Media team. Its always a pleasure to work with you, and I cant wait to see what youve got in store for us! Adam, for making sure Exhibitors and Artists got the setups they needed and taking care of their merchandise. Clayton, for taking care of Marketing Department operations; you were were extremely efficient, and also super fun to work with! Christina, for all of your help and support behind the scenes. (: Sandy for how well you handled programming - over the past month, youve amazed me with your tireless effort and dedication. Andy, Colin, and Greg, for running Con Ops efficiently and smoothly (also, much thanks to Amy from JAC for linking us up!) And for everyone else I missed, thank you for staffing TouhouCon. Were proud to have you as part of the TouhouCon Family, and wed like to work with you for many years to come! Id also like to thank all the Special Guests: Lily Ki, Lolita Dark, Dustbunny, Jayden Champ Okageo, Yuks General, Junkers Cosplay Inc., 成博之 [ Hiroyuki Sei ], Brinni, and Zerggiee Cosplay for coming to TouhouCon! We hope you had a great time, and wed love to have you back again! We apologise for any complications that may have occurred, and promise that well make it up to you. Well definitely have much more for you next time! Also, thanks to the Press, Industry, Artists, and Exhibitors who came to TouhouCon; I hope you all had fun and enjoyed our convention! Special thanks to Sakura for filming video and supporting us in spirit while exhibiting at Tokyo Game Show, Andrew aka Jesus, Steven for the alpacas, John for sponsoring us, Danny Allison, Chaz, and Todd for being there and supporting us as fellow convention organisers. And last, but most importantly, Id like to thank the amazing Touhou community. Im super proud to be one of the people behind this project, and being able to see so many happy attendees. I hope to be able to do much more to support the Touhou community in upcoming years.
