Im pissed off at the pastor who stood on the Capitol Steps yesterday asking for a moment of silence and prayers for the girls kidnapped in Nigeria. I do NOT need a religion to compel or challenge me to morality, compassion or empathy. I am a moral person free from and not as a result of religion. It is NOT only religious people who care deeply for the plight of these girls and have a desire for their safe return to their families. Its about time that the whole world stood up against these atrocities that go on every single day. The only reason why so much attention has been aroused this time is because of the number being so great. We ALL need to stand up against the horrible treatment of women all over the world no matter if it is just one girl or one woman, every single day.
