Im praying this isnt how you hear about this first and if it is Im sorry. One of my best friends from my childhood, Dan Mccain, passed away yesterday suddenly. I am heartbroken and sad beyond belief. He was my best friend. There are many people who can make that claim. He was that kind of guy. There are a few others who have been my best friend in my life but he was mine at an important time in my life and now that chapter is permanently closed. Dan was a Good Man, Friend, Husband and most of all Father. He held his children close to his heart and I know there will be an irreplacable hole in their hearts forever. I loved my friend and I wish to God on high he was still here. He shared alot with me the year I traveled between San Diego and Santa Rosa. He trusted and confided in me. I wish I had done the same this year. I fell out of touch and now Ill never get to share with him. He was a light of happiness and joy in all our lives. He was the happiest go luckiest guy I knew. I hurt for my loss but I hurt for his family more. My sadness and disbelief cannot compare to theirs. May God rest his soul and I look forward to heaven more than ever now. I know he will be one of the first people I see there. God Bless you and your family Danny. I love you Brother.
