Im pretty overwhelmed to be honest, but knowing at the same time God is in CONTROL! Spending time with the Larry family today and tonight gave me a peace & knowing that God has strengthen them, strengthens me! Im remembering when T Joyce Phillips used to press (straighten) my hair along with her sister Cristie Larry- Barfield, my sister too when we were like 7 years old! We would look like twins and be happy with our greased up shinny scalps! (smile) So, Im pretty speechless right now, still having an inner peace if that makes sense. T Joyce Phillips spoke a powerful word at our Williams/Walker Temple Reunion Choir Concert on last Saturday night! The spirit of God is real and it was in the HOUSE! No flesh, but Gods anointing POWER! Those that knew her knew she wasnt an aggressive person, but on that night, she grabbed the mic and pleaded for the souls! Pleaded that people come to the alter although the concert wasnt over & give their hearts to God! WHEW! Its time to make a decision! That was definitely out of her comfort zone to get in front of a HUGE crowd like she did. I thank God for her. God is a God of love, but warning is coming people!! Its time, if you are alive and the blood is still warm in your veins, PLEASE TURN YOUR LIFE OVER TO GOD! No matter what youve done, God is a forgiving God, but you dont know when your time is UP!
