Im pretty sure some guy was attempting to con then mug me at Walmart just a minute ago. He came up to me just as I started shopping and told me that his car broke down and that he needed a ride to the parts store to pickup a hose. Naturally I wanted to help the guy so I promised him that I would give him a ride as soon as I was done. He met me at checkout and kept thanking me and giving me a lot of back story about himself and his situation. Several things he said started to cue my suspicion, but I kept it cool and observed him. He asked if he could use my phone to call the parts store of which he didnt know the name, but he kept assuring me it was only a couple minutes away. After bagging my groceries we walked to my car. When we sat down I explained to him that I have a camera in the car and its recording everything. He quickly got out and started mumbling about asking someone else then scurried away. I called the parts store back immediately. Turns out it was just some random lady. Im pretty sure this dude had every intention of mugging. Just so you know, hes an older black man who is missing a lot of front teeth and has a big scar on his nose. Dont trust him.
