Im quite sure everyone is all hush hush because people are slowly figuring out that damn near everyone is racist. Why? Simple, its a social paradigm, taught to be avoided and hushed as opposed to analyzed and corrected. But then again Ive always had racists as friends. At least you like your race enough to tell me you would put it over my own, as I would over yours. It only makes sense. Its now that common sense is seeming to be the only valid source left. If it doesnt make sense then it was either made that way or it is wrong. But what happens when it was made that way? Please understand the difference between racism and bigotry before you apply a label. Most people dont like a bigot because they hate for the sake of hate. Why hate a racist who can articulate why they prefer their race over others? Break down the term racist so we can all better understand it Race(second set of definitions)1st definition- each of the major divisions of humankind, having distinct physical characteristics. ist(suffix)- One who ism(suffix)- the act, practice, or process of doing something : behavior like that of a specified kind of person or thing : unfair treatment of a group of people who have a particular quality Now we all passed english. Now lets do some simple addition of facts. If race is defined as one of specified divisions of human kind then that means race is rather finite meaning the races dont change they only mix. We all know that once colors mix its rather futile to attempt to separate at risk of losing everything and making it all end up...black. Now that being said, apply the suffix ist to race and create racist(dropped the e) now the word means one who is of one of the major divisions of humankind the distinct characteristic in this is that you now acknowledge that youd choose your race over another, inherently you should be proud to do so. So when does a racist become a problem? Only when they have enough to be able to influence opinion of others like minded. Having pride in your race is of no sin, but apply hubris(a deadly sin) and thats when you get things like Jim Crow laws. Now apply the suffix ism to race, and we get racism. Now here is where we get issues, theres 3 roads 2 of them blacks ignore and pick the 3rd. Here in lies the issue. If blacks allow themselves to be defined by something other than themselves, but are willing to accept the *injustice payoff(sig) thats when all you see is the injustices. Now riddle me this, if even black sees black as a problem, then who would be willing to stand up for, or even claim that they are proud of such a race? That would then lead me to believe that racism is more so past tense, its not the action its the reception. Stop saying everything racist is an injustice, you may be hearing exactly why an injustice is happening. All you can really support is facts, possibly the people who have them, but among all these things youd have to keep in mind. What about those folks who if their skin where a few shades darker they would be able to get away with more, people like these are those who try and make it ok so see black people doing dumb shit 24/7. If theres anything to be worried about its rich bigots/racists. Being a racist or bigot can be ok to a degree, because people around those individuals generally keep them in check. Its when racists and bigots manage to get their hateful paws on something that provides leverage that their hateful rhetoric can be spread. People want something to be mad at, be mad at the people with money who allow other people with money to spread hateful rhetoric. The poor can only police the poor because they know how they fight, what possible retaliation can be expected. If people believe that money makes options limitless as opposed to the fact that money accentuates actual human potential then we end up in the current predicament. The poor in spirit but rich in wealth, suppressing those overflowing with spirit and rich in poverty. Maybe you need to fight back by not giving those people attention. Dont put people on a pedestal, or it used to be that simple. Now it doesnt matter if you make the pedestal short so the fall isnt so hard, people can buy a bigger one. The point? Its almost like the world is open mic night and everybody has one in their hand ready to spit a hot 16 or maybe a parable and such. Some people out there are just waiting for you to get yours turned on so they can get a shout out, some folks watching the active mic so they can see how it should really be done. I guess I can now quote B.O.B. If black hate didnt exist, then the term New Black wouldnt exist. Be the change you want to see.
