Im really excited to see Hockey growing as a sport and as an international interest. The NHL is on the cusp of celebrating their centennial and are clearly more determined then the other national leagues to take the bull by the horns and advancing the sport in general. My only concern is that you will more likely then not see the wear and tear on some of the worlds greatest players and Im afraid they might be burnt out over the next couple of years. Also, I think the general opinion is that the North American Youngstars and the Pan-European teams wont stand a chance against the elite Canadan, Russian, American, Czech, Sweden and Finland teams which is ignorant. Give it another decade and I truly believe that Hockey will end up taking Association Footballs spot as the Worlds Most Popular Sport. Association Football will still probably be more accessible but not by that much.
