Im really getting tired of the falsehoods in the Democrat Party sponsored political ads claiming Bill Cassidy voted against Social Security and Medicare! First, if anyone has raped Medicare, it is Obamacare. That little law took over $700 billion from Medicare to fund insurance only a small percentage of the population could use. Second, Social Security and Medicare will go broke unless something is done to fix it. The proposed fix changes no benefits for those born before 1954, I believe. That is what Cassidy voted to approve. The ads play tricks with the truth to deceive a low information voting public. Unfortunately, plans to fix these entitlements must be finished or no one will get anything. Cassidy voted to protect future benefits, not curtail current recipients entitlements. Third - lies are lies,even if Senator Reid and Congresswoman Wasserman-Schultz try to wrap them in false credibility. Pay attention to the following ad and see for yourself how the truth is stolen from the honorable. This ad is too dishonest to even warrant airing. These poor seniors have been take advantage of by political opportunists who would lie to their own grandmothers and then use them to foster further lies.
