Im sharing a poem my friend wrote for me. It gives me hope and encouragement as my winter is still here. Spring As you find yourself in winter time, so full of grief and loss; where the sun doesnt shine and the cold sets in, as you try to carry your cross. Jesus is interceding for you as you feel deaths painful sting. Hes praying you through your winter time and leading you towards spring. Although the trees surrounding you are bare and the skies above are grey; though each footstep seems so heavy as you fight to make it through the day; there are everlasting arms holding you as youre carried by the King... Away from this valley of the shadows and towards your fragrant spring. For in just a while your season will change, youll feel it in the breeze. The heady fragrance of fruitfulness will find you on your knees; those trees now covered in blossoms with birds that fly and sing...a song that will fill your heart with joy and usher in your spring. The savior remains so close so near as your days stretch out ahead. This Word a Light, this Love a Rock, your promised Daily Bread. And as you keep your eyes on Him, youll rise on eagles wings. Your winter will pass and soon youll be in your much awaited SPRING! By; Vanessa McNamara
