Im sharing this because this is something I feel strongly about. This seems to be an increasingly common practise in any creative industry and I personally feel that although one can benefit from exposure, it is really unclear if that exposure will benefit you in any way. Of course we all will have worked for free at some point or another in exchange for publicity (myself included). But sometimes at the end of the day, its those asking for the free work that gains the most. Read Dans interview. What do you think? At what point is it time for you to say no to working for free?
