Im sitting here thinking of all the things I am thankful for and one of the most special was my mom. On the 2nd year anniversary if her going to be with the Lord I wrote this in her honor......The Lord said Come my young and gentle soul its time for you to go, Must I Father, must I go I want to stay I love it so. Yes, he said with a gentle smile, it will be only for a little while, there are so many I want you to meet, to help, to love, to kiss on the cheek. The baby looked with wondering eyes, at the young couple before her full of surprise. She was their first and they were proud, Virginia they called and she cried out loud. As the years went by other babies came along, she helped, she loved, she was really strong. But sometimes shed tire and want to play, but her mama needed her and wanted her to stay. Must I Mama she said with a pout, I really, really would like to go out? Yes, her mother said with a smile, I need you Virginia just for awhile. The years went by, she grew into a woman, married her love and began to have children, They were her life, her loves, her best, soon it would be time they leave the nest. Must I let them go Dear Lord, she said, Yes each one, they will find a place to lay their head. You taught them the way they should go, have no fear, you did right Virginia my dear. Soon her children had children and she was Grandma, her grandchildren had children and she was Great. She enjoyed them all and watched them grow, not knowing the future held her fate. The doctor said Cancer the very worst kind, we can give you treatment so it down, but you havent much time. Must I Lord go through this trial, with a sad smile he said Yes, dear for a little while. He gave her eight years to show his love, to give her testimony about God above, to show her courage, to love, to help, to kiss a cheek, soon there came a time she was just to weak. The Lord said Come my young and gentle soul it is time for you to go, Must I Father must I go, I want to stay here, I love it so. Yes Virginia, my good and faithful servant, you have walked the walk and talked the talk your crown awaits. And he said with a gentle smile , I will see you at the pearly gates. THE END.
