Im so ...New York (imma keep this broad for reasons you will see in a few) East New York born in Brookdale hospital raised on Riverdale Ave in the 70s i remember La Farmacia on Pennsylvania and Livonia and the big snowstorm with drifts so tall mom used to toss me in and i couldnt see out of...i also remember the blackout and hiding in the bathtub with mom because of the gunshots...so we moved on up to the better neighborhood... Bushwick where i still reside (no wait its Ridgewood for the record shouts to Queens which im only beginning to explore now thanks Sheena) and I remember the woolworths on Myrtle, the cuchifritos on Knickerbocker (pronounced kniKAbocKA) (still there) and i still pronounce Graham GRRRA-HAM meeting dj evil dee and Robert Wallace (you in a hiphop group now...? oh cool...the what...The Arsonists? oh nice name...) i also remember going to high school in Hell Kitchen with the homies ( Naomi Marisol Lorny Eva Tee Julia Sandy evelyn iris etc etc) learning how to style my hair curly (thanks to you FOREVER Alison ) and with a few more now famous folks (*coughs Smif n Wesson, Maxwell ...Tropical i mean Sticky Fingas from Onyx)graduating in Lincoln Center learning about the village and rollin in the village... Where I found more homies stayed hanging there through college (shouts Harene Bing Emi Jee dana rahk ) on 8th St (shouts to the Ginger Roze crew) and a few more now famous folks (*cough Bazaar) watched The Roots at Nuyoricans (oh nice band... hope they go places)... ...and after college hitting up Lyricist Lounge ...the showcase not the tv show meeting Robert (*cough pumpkinhead) supernat wordsworth and hearing the best cyphers EVER i tell you and let me tell you this is only an 8th of an 8th of how New York I am but imma stop now
