Im so angry with Verizon Wireless I m about to cancel my account and go elsewhere. Yall tell me what you would do in my position. Last Wednesday I purchased a iphone online for Ashleys birthday and paid for the next day delivery because it worked best for my schedule because of the signature required for delivery. Thursday I checked my email to find a problem processing my order message. So I call to learn that my order had not shipped, I was not given an explanation as to why but because it was after the cut off time for next day delivery my package would now be delayed until Monday. Grrrrrr! Two days after her birthday. Oh well....It is what it is right....wrong! After checking the tracking info on Saturday I see its in the UPS facility in Stafford and on track for delivery today. So I wait...and wait and finally check the tracking info again to learn that Verizon has recalled my package to be sent back to the warehouse! This time no email, heck they know my phone number they could have called or even text but no communication from the phone company, imagine that!. Oh but it gets even better! They claim to have recalled the phone because they sent my application to the credit department for approval! I paid for the phone with a debit card and the transaction has already been approved by my bank! Then....then...they ask me if I requested UPS delivery. No I say, I did not, why do you ask? To which he replied....this is really odd, we usually use Fedex. I have spoken to 3 different people and all I want is the phone I bought and paid for last week.....but you know what they tell me? Verizon will be happy to ship another phone when the original one I ordered is returned and credited to my account. How Wild is this? They order a return Via ground shipping on a phone I want and I have paid for. Estimated time for phone to arrive back at Verizon 3 or 4 days plus another 3 days to credit to my account before they will send me another phone. This is the funniest part of all. Verizon thinks I should pay them again to send me a second phone and they will kindly credit my account when everything gets settled with the first flippin phone that I didnt order returned in the first place. This is really crappy service for a customer who has been with Verizon since they were Motorola! Oh I am mad and my kid still doesnt have her present. What do you think I should do?
