Im so beyond sick of people claiming theyre progressive minded and then, the next sentence, theyre denouncing or bashing another part of the country or world, most of the time they havent even been there. And so what you got a cup of coffee in milwaukee and met 2 people you didnt like. Did those folks assault your comfortable little state of mind? Were you provided with a culture shock you just werent ready for? May I present a thought... maybe NONE of us are as progressive as we think, and if you sit back thinking about how awesome and eclectic you are, well then maybe you should just go live by yourself somewhere farrrrr away, because your progress in life is done! Please stop wasting your breath spouting how important you are to everyones future and just do something positive, on the ground level, where it makes a difference. Your artistic sense of self and bullshit opinions are just revealing your weak spots. LEARN FROM EVERYTHING! Whether its a death in the family, a lost job oppurtunity, or a bite from a rabid wolf. Of course this is just my opinion, feel free to knock me down a peg or two
