Im so hurt and angry about this stupid situation at Fresno City College. 7 music classes were canceled due to there not being "enough" students in the classes. These were Latin, Percussion, Woodwind, Brass, Jazz Combos, Piano Level 2 and Ear Training 2. Five of these classes are required for music majors. after all the things they have made us go through with policy changes and "family" classes and such BS. Do they not realize that they are hurting people. Not just the students in these classes but people who have to do concert reports, what are they going to write about when half of the concerts are taken out. What about the people who are there that want to learn. are you trying to completely take away expression and creation? whats the end game? are you trying to get ride of the beauty that is music? do you not know that without the screeching screams of the violins in the score, the movie "psycho" would not be the same movie? Music gives "emotional color" to an otherwise "emotional colorless" world. I would not like to live in a "black and white" world.
