Im so sad today to hear of the passing of the Rock Legend that is Jim Keays. I met him in Adelaide in the early 90s, on the same day I first met Doc Neeson. Its tragic that in the past few weeks we have said goodbye to them both. Jim became part of the Spicks and Specks family, in particular in the early days, when we were strugging to find guests. He was always a true gentleman, and a bona fide Rock God at the same time. Wherever you are tonight, try to find the time to listen to The Masters Apprentices Its Because I Love You and maybe even Turn Up Your Radio. Farewell Jim - you shaped Australian Rock Music, and you did Adelaide proud. And you were a joy to know.
