Im so thrilled to be part of the 4th European Clarinet Congress in Katowice, Poland which is taking place at the beautifully renovated Music Academy Katowice. I guess Im considered to be a European artist because I spend so much time over here (plus the formative time I spent studying in France). But in a way, I also consider myself European in part because my family has only been in the US for 135 years: a mere blip on the greater timeline! I guess if the Tea Party Republicans would have their way with immigration policies they might want to send me back to where I came from! (Growl.... Grrrrrrrr!!!)
