Im sorry, if the WHOLE Bible is not truth, I have two questions. First, how do you decide which scriptures to believe and which ones not to? Secondly, if some of the Bible is unacceptable or irrelevant, isnt it all? Im sorry this kind of thinking allows our society to chose what is most convenient to believe. I for one, will not succumb to this. There are things in scripture that are tough to adhere to, difficult, challenging, confrontational, and contrary to my nature. Yet, when I dont measure up, I admit it, and Im challenged to be more and Im changed by its standards. I dont change it, it changes me! Therefore, label me however, uneducated, intolerant, a proponent of hate, etc. it makes no difference. It has profoundly changed me, changes me daily, makes me a better husband, father, son, brother, friend and Pastor. I dont need to alter it I need it to alter me. Ill continue to preach and believe it to be what I know it has been to me, the voice of my creator!
