Im sorry to break it to you people but just because you got so butthurt about some whatnot somebody from our department did, and although, it is a given that SOME students from our department do have shitty attitudes which I myself have to admit that I hate as well, it does not give you all rights to generalize ALL THE STUDENTS in our department. Id like to educate all you people degrading Tourism students that we do not just rely on our physical characteristics. We, just like anybody else out there taking their respective courses, are also women of big dreams. We did not just take this course to show off whatever we want to flaunt. We want to at least prove, not to anyone, but ourselves, that we, too, are capable of being of service to a big world before us. We, just like you reading this, also want to pursue a career that we have confidence in and we know we can excel in. I find it ridiculous how you base it on your own judgment that the Tourism course is just all face and no brains. Mind you that the tourism industry is broader than you could possibly imagine. Thats probably something you do not know since you are not taking the same path as us. You do not have a single idea just how much a lot of us are working our asses off just to achieve our dreams the same you are working your asses off to achieve yours. Please do know that, as students, we have our own hardships. Stop acting like your course is royalty when, in the end, when we all graduate and find jobs, we will be dealing with one another, needing the help of one another, to cater to a big world anyway. Might I just add that ALL departments out there have just as much students with the same stinky attitudes. Thank you very much.
