Im sorry to hear of the passing of Judith Kahn-Donald. I recall being a timid high school student and she was a huge advocate for Indigenous arts in the community of Langley, and for whatever reason, she saw something in my work, and was a tireless advocate for the development and spotlight of my work ever since. That was 1998. She was the backbone behind the 125th Anniversary Coat of Arms for Langley Township, which I had the pleasure of having my work and community of the Kwantlen Nation represented in. She was a great advocate again for the 150th anniversary of the Province of BC in 2008 by being part of the team that showcased my work and community again for the official emblem that year. I will miss our passionate discussions about our community with her.
