Im starting my Santa Claus wish list early: 1. Good black shows on TV! 2. Remove the Ethnic sign from above black folk hair products in stores! 3. Black folks edges...they are clearly under attack! 4. Three fried bologny, egg, and cheese sammiches with tomato and cheap iceberg lettuce. 5. The complete seasons of Gimme A Break. Nell made history for being the first black woman to slap white folks chirren without gettin lynched behind it!! 6. Marcel curling irons in all sizes for all my friends that do hair!! 7. A muzzle for all men who try to start a conversation with me talmbout, Aye now, Look here, or Bow legs!!! 8. A wedding announcement for my 83 yr old gramma and her common law boyfriend/husband of some 36 years. 9. The actual use of all the black church Building Funds or at least some new knobs on the bathroom stalls in they fellowship hall. 10. The comeback of Keisha Cole, Sunshine Anderson, Lil Mo, and Brandys soprano range or something close to it. Mother been a contralto too long. Please Santa. I dont really believe in you, but if you could make that thang happen I might consider leaving you some chitlins, conbread, tato salad, and collards out on Christmas Eve.
