Im still unable to form a full opinion on the #Ferguson case yet, but that video of him allegedly committing a strong arm #robbery makes it pretty clear, that if indeed that is him (I havent heard that any family members or the store owner IDd him yet), he is aggressive & not in a good way. He just reached over the counter & grabbed what he wanted, and shoved that poor, older store owner on the way out. I find it hard to believe that #1 that was his first time doing something like that (having a clean record only means one hasnt been caught), and #2 that aggression didnt spill over into the encounter w/the cop minutes later. I find the recorded eyewitness testimony compelling but for me that recording needs to be authenticated. Who is this person? On the other side, Id like to know if the officer has had complaints filed before...etc. Did he call for backup? If so, was that exchange recorded? I need more than just his name, race & his anonymous friends speaking up for him. There are just too many loose ends to be tied. What I dislike most, is that these non-political tragedies end up being so polarized down political lines....racial ones too. Many on the left see any dead black youth as 100% angels who couldnt have possible done anything wrong & many on the right condemn these young people as demons who deserved to be shot. As I look back at many of the comments & posts, some of you even said certain things before the video of the robbery & the eyewitness testimony recorded without him knowing it. Thats why when some say wait for the facts I know youre full of it because youre telling others to do something that you didnt do. In any case, I pray for both families & the truth will come out....or not & life will go on.
