Im thankful today for several black women in this community who I have been blessed to associate with at various recent events ... Being a black, educated woman (in my lowly opinion) is still sometimes tougher than our counterparts in many ways (social, educational and economic struggles) and it just made me SO proud to see these sistas doing it for themselves! Power girls Tasha Barnes Griffin, Qiana ONeal and Monique R. Armstrong, Muncie City Hall super twins Yvonne Yvonne Thompson and Dr. Terry Whitt Bailey, and new author and my best bud Kizmin Millben Jones, just to name a few! Oh, yes, they are holding it down - Way down! Love each of you! :)
