Im thinking about moms with two or three little ones this morning. You really are in the hardest season regarding the physical demands on you ( I hear the teen years can be more emotionally demanding :) When I had three littles that were three and under I can see why that was a lot harder in most ways than it will be having five seven and under. For example, this morning Ricky, Rhea and Johnny helped me with the laundry and dishwasher. Ricky and Rhea got their own breakfast and Rhea helped take care of Charis this morning while I laid around with morning sickness. Each of them are learning how to serve a family and contribute in the home and in return blessing this mama so much. When I think back to how overwhelming it was with 3 ages 3 and under I want to encourage mamas in a similar place that it does get easier. Best of all, if youre a Christian mama, you have the Lord with you through it all no matter how many kids and no matter what ages. He is the good Shepherd that makes everything better :) He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; He gently leads those that have young. (Isaiah 40:11)
