Im thinking that earlier, Richard Macdougall posted an absolutley perfect summation of the bond we Explorers share. Couldnt have said anything better than what he did. I might add that one other variable that causes this feeling in me personally, is the fact that they tore down a perfectly sound building and then let that site sit vacant for years. For some reason that hurt. At least if we had seen something go up in its place, that might have eased the pain. They leveled the school and the beautifull athletic facility behind it, for what...to watch a field grow? It felt disrespectful. Weird, but true. Thanks again to John Pietricone for setting this memorial page up. Way too many friends have left us too early. This page should remind us to enjoy our time on this earth. If you would like to see some old friends from LaSalle there are 2 upcoming opportunities....Next Friday 5/30, we are holding a fundraiser for our LaSalle Alumni Golf Outing and Friday Night Bash (8/1). It will be at The Vault (Buff Ave between the LaSalle Library and McCleods). 6-9pm, Jamie Holka performing. Simply doing a split club, listening to great music, and getting together with some old buddies. Stop out if you can. Peace.
