Im totally confused by most parenting philosophy. Now, Im not a parent, so this could be why I have no clue but, can someone explain to me why parents are spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on ridiculous gadgets/technology/toys for their kids?? When I hang out with my nieces and nephews, I hand them a 10cent pencil and tell them its magical. Im like, With THIS you can make design a dress. A car. A house. You can draw a picture of anyone is the whole world. You can write books, movies, speeches. You can change the WORLD. If you have a pencil you can make money ANYWHERE you go! And those little monsters are entertained for HOURS. call me crazy, but uuummmm... You dont need to spend $100s of dollars to entertain kids.
