Im very excited that our first short documentary entitled My Miss Pinup will be available online to watch online at 6pm tomorrow. So before it gets released, I just want to speak to everyone about my choices in what I used, because the last thing I want is any of our girls getting hurt that they didnt make it into the cut. Its very hard for me being both the film maker who selects everything that goes in there as well as each and every one of your friends. It makes it especially hard when I feel deeply connected to and moved by all your personal stories and am so proud to have watched you all grow. Just so we are clear, before it gets released, it would of been impossible for me to include everyones interviews. The full length is 9 minutes and 14 girls interviews made it into the final cut which includes one past competitor. Due to the short length, I had to be careful to select people who spoke concisely and to the point. In some cases, if two girls said very similar things, I chose the girl who articulated better and in shorter time. I did watch every persons interview and selected what was useable, but when I was compiling it, I had to select what went together and told a story. Interviews with Pixie and myself were used and filmed after purely to assist the story flow and make sense, not because, I can assure you, that we wanted to star in it. As far as extra footage which made it into the cut, including both candid and on stage footage, was selected because either it complimented the story line or it was filmed well in good light or in focus. A lot of time, heartache and creativity went into creating this and I truly believe that every piece encompasses the true spirit, love and support that is Miss Pinup. So I ask you, that when you see it, you support your pinup sisters and rejoice in what was an amazing season of Miss Pinup filled with inspiring women.
