Im watching two documentaries in a row on the Smithsonian Channel about early Christian writings in pre-Council of Nicaea Egypt, while simultaneously reading Christian Egypt by Massiano Capuani. I wonder how many Americans would regard the Coptic people of this time. They appear so...um, foreign. And they refuse to speak English (which makes them highly suspect). Some of them even look like Obama! Gasp! Anyway, I highly recommend it as a way to recover from dental surgery.
