Im wondering how many wars would be voted for, if the president would attach a tax increase estimation to pay for it, along with it? The same people who are for war, are against tax increases. It is simple addition and subtraction. What happened to our federal surplus we had with Clinton? It was a war and a tax cut. Got to pay if you want to play. The so-called unsustainable social security retirement program, that is currently on the Republican chopping block, is sustainable with the tax structure of our recent past. There is more wealth in America right now than any time in history. There is no reason to not pay off the debt and balance the budget, besides greed.
