Im working on a scary story that was told to me by a grounds keeper at the place I go hiking every weekend, Mount Rubidoux. In Riverside, Ca. Im calling my story The Mystery of The Church Tower Ghost. A story about Margaret Sullivan a young woman who was married on the mountain then was murdered on her wedding night by person unknown. Some say it was her new husband who was forced into marriage do to her pregnancy. Some even suspected that it was a jealous ex-boyfriend. It is said that at dusk you can hear a woman weeping up and down the hiking trail. A hiker had told me that while he was on the trail that leads to the church tower he felt as if someone was walking behind him at a fast pace. Thinking it was another hiker he moved to the the side to let the hiker pass. He said he was in total shock when he noticed that nobody was there. But there was a scent of orange blossom perfume lingering around him. Relatives of Margarets had said that she was fond of orange blossom perfume. As soon as I get more history of Margaret Sullivan the church tower ghost, I will post it for you guys.
