Im your huckleberry!... Doc Holliday - Tombstone. July 8, 2014 2:15am Good morning. The feelings of lament are subsiding for me, but I am boiling mad. My anger stems from a lie told about a friend. That’s why friendship is on my mind as I ready for work today. If you have a good friend what is your responsibility in the relationship? My belief is that responsibility is to be there for them, especially if they are not there to defend themselves, especially from a lie. A person will spend a lifetime building a reputation, but can lose it overnight due to lips that utter untruths. The scales on these kind of snakes should be painfully plucked and a clever would be my weapon of choice for their forked tongues. I know it’s a little Hamarobie Code, but I did express I am writing from a place of anger. People who pick on my friends need to know up front I am not the wallflower kind of friend, who may hear the untruth and then run back and tell what was said. I’m a friend who will not only confront the liar, I will take the steps necessary to deal with said prevaricator. Let me break it down to a sentence: Messing with my friends is messing with me and I will NOT be messed with, nor will I tolerate the same for those who I care about. To me, the person who runs from a fight isn’t always a coward, but not sticking up for a true friend is cowardice in it’s purest form. That is not in my design so there is no reference point for me to empathize with such an act. I have, am, and will continue to stick up for my friends and confront their foes as my own when said friendship is true. So, to those who want to mess with me and mine, be warned, when you mess with the bull you’re going to get the horns!!! On that positive note to all of you, my friends on facebook and beyond, have a blessed day and don’t worry, I’ve got your back! ()
