Images of Dubai, United Arab Emirates #1 June 09, 2014 Folks, after walking out of the Orient Guest House this morning at 10am, the temperature was already in the mid-high 30s and I was sweating profusely within the first minute - and Im really not a person who sweats. TMI? By necessity, I spent much of the day sightseeing from one air conditioned place to the next. Stopping off inside stores fronts and finding refuge in the simple air conditioned bus shelters - great idea by the way Dubai ;) Im not big on shopping malls but I admit I decided to visit a few of Dubais world famous malls to see the attractions, the incredible array of stores and to escape the heat. So enjoy these photos of my travels around Dubai, the Al Ghurer Mall, the Dubai Mall and the Mall of the Emirates! I did take a hot swim in the gulf waters beneath the worlds most luxurious hotel, the seven star Burj Al Arab Hotel, and will post a few pics of that separately. The worlds tallest man made structure, the Burj Kalifa also features prominently in some of these photos. (A separate post of that will appear tomorrow sometime after my 10am pre booked entry to the observation deck, 452.1m (1483 ft) above the desert floor below).
