Imagine being picked up on a warrant and being taken into custody. - TopicsExpress

Imagine being picked up on a warrant and being taken into custody. The police dont tell you what the charge is. You finally have your day to see the judge. He says to you, I hereby sentence you to death! You are being held accountable for all the laws you broke in your life. You suddenly feel sick and wanna run....but you cant. He starts reading every law you broke. You politely say to him,Your honor, I didnt even know a lot of these laws were actually laws. Im sorry! Your in the hot seat and feel remorse and try to talk your way out. The only problem is that the judge is fair and rules according to the law. The only thing the judge says is, this man is guilty. The officers then start walking toward you but they stop when they hear a voice. A man stands up and says, I will stand in the place of this man and take his punishment. I will die for this man. Let this man be free! What would go thru your mind? How would you feel? You probably would be filled with gratitude. You are then set free..... This name of the man who took your death sentence is Jesus. One day we will all be judged according to Gods law. We will all be held accountable by God. Weather you know the law or not. God gave us the Bible as a road map on how to live. What we will be judged on is in the pages. You will not make it into heaven by being a good person or doing good deeds. No one is free from sin and God is HOLY so sin cant reside where God is. If it wasnt for Jesus Christ we would all be damned to eternal death. Our only ticket to heaven is through Christ. The precious blood of Christ makes us clean and takes away our sins. Christ is the only reason we will have eternal life. If you accept Christ as your Savior he starts to change your heart. By reading Gods Word you then become conscious of sin and out of love and gratitude for Christ you then want walk in obedience. The Holy Spirit is there to lead, guide and direct your life to live according to Gods purpose. We are not perfect and we will continue to fall into sin. We will never be perfect. This is why we have a Savior, to pick you back up when you fall, to comfort your pain and to replace misery with peace. Christ is always there for us, he never leaves. I need a Savior and I am forever grateful for Christs perfect love, patience, peace, kindness, gentleness and compassion. So if anyone was wondering why people are so head over heels for Christ, this is why. People love to talk about their best friend, dont they? I believe those who believe in Christ as their Savior should not just give him praise during Good Friday or Resurrection Sunday but everyday. Remember our souls were bought at a price, they werent free. Christ took the wrath of God upon himself because of his love for us. This is a brief explanation on my journey with Christ. By no means am I judging anyone and I sure dont think Im better than anyone. Im just another sinner who NEEDS a Savior and just trying to share my personal experience to help anyone in need. Good word from Gus Hlebovy.
